Judd was in attendance at late IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon’s funeral on
Saturday morning. The singer delivered heartbreaking renditions of both
“Amazing Grace” and “I Can Only Imagine” at the services, which took
place in St. Petersburg, Florida. Wheldon’s funeral service at St.
Pete’s First Presbyterian Church drew more than 1,200 friends, family
and admirers. Many of them came from the racing community. Wheldon died a
week ago in Las Vegas following a fiery, 15-car crash. Judd’s
brother-in-law is driver Dario Franchitti. Her younger sister, actress
Ashley Judd, has been married to Franchitti for nearly 10 years.
