Tim McGraw Indentifies With ‘Dirty Girl’

In the comedy “Dirty Girl,” a firecracker of a girl goes searching for her biological father. Tim McGraw plays that father. In real life, McGraw eventually met his biological father, the late baseball player Tug McGraw. He says he “sympathized certainly with the plight of trying to find your father and trying to figure out who you are.” But he says he “also empathized from the father’s point of view” because it took time to become part of his father’s life and to become close. “Dirty Girl” is playing in some theaters now.
