Gentry is pleased with their new disc – especially because “Rebels on
the Run” debuted in the Top 10. “Man, bein’ away that long, we just
didn’t know what to expect,” said Eddie Montgomery. “Our friends kept
comin’ to the shows all that time, and it looks like they were ready for
some new music. “We have the greatest fans in the world,” said Troy
Gentry. “But we definitely don’t take anything for granted. We are so
thankful to everyone at Average Joe’s (the duo’s record label), and for
the team they put together to get the word out about this album. We’re
more excited about what’s going on now than we have been in a long time,
and it makes us want to get out and play that much more.”
