Artist of the Day - Lee Brice

Lee Brice

  • Lee Brice attended Clemson University on a football scholarship. He played special teams as the long snapper but after an arm injury he decided to focus on a country music career.
  • Brice co-wrote Garth Brooks’ 2007 single “More Than a Memory,” which became the first single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts to debut at No. 1. He also penned hit singles for Tim McGraw (“Still) and Jason Aldean (“Not Every Man Lives.”)
  • Three-time ACM nominee Lee Brice released his debut album “Love Like Crazy” in June 2010. The title track reached the Top 5 on the charts and was named Billboard’s No. 1 country song of 2010. It currently holds the record for the longest charting song in the history of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The song was nominated for the 2011 CMT Music Awards’ USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year award.
  • Brice recently wrapped up Willie Nelson’s “Country Throwdown Tour” and is now on tour alongside Josh Thompson and Luke Bryan for Bryan’s “CMT’s Tailgates and Tanlines” tour. His next single “A Woman Like You,” hits radio October 17th.
