Buffett will ease into his 2012 touring year, continuing his “Welcome
to Fin Land Tour” with a trio of East Coast shows. Buffett and his Coral
Reefer Band will next touchdown January 28th in Miami, followed by
stops in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 31st and Charleston, South
Carolina, on February 2nd. Buffett unveiled “Volcano – Live 2011” in
September via iTunes. The collection, recorded this spring, showcases
the band performing all of the songs from Buffett’s 1988 album “Volcano”
in concert. Also available for download now is a live, updated version
of the Buffett track “God’s Own Drunk,” recorded this year as well. It
marks the first time the song – which first appeared officially on the
1978 live album “You Had to Be There: Recorded Live” – has been made
available as a digital single. Buffett’s most recent studio effort,
“Buffet Hotel,” surfaced in late 2009.
