2011 CMA Music Awards Air Tonight

Country music’s biggest stars are in Nashville, for tonight’s Country Music Association Awards. Among those stars are this year’s Entertainer of the Year nominees, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and last year’s winner, Brad Paisley. All five nominees are set to perform at the ceremony, which airs live on ABC. Shelton, who earned a leading five nominations, will open the show with Kenny Loggins. The two will perform a version of Loggins’ hit film theme song “Footloose.” Shelton’s version leads the soundtrack of the recently-released remake of the classic. The ceremony will also feature a tribute to Glen Campbell, who revealed in June that he has Alzheimer’s disease. Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Vince Gill will all salute the famed guitarist and Country Music Hall of Fame member. Other performances will come from Scotty McCreery, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Sugarland, Martina McBride, Zac Brown Band, Faith Hill, and co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Major nominees include:

Entertainer of the Year: Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
Female Vocalist of the Year: Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.
Male Vocalist of the Year: Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
New Artist of the Year: The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Thompson Square and Chris Young.
Vocal Group of the Year: The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.
Vocal Duo of the Year: The Civil Wars, Montgomery Gentry, Steel Magnolia, Sugarland and Thompson Square.
Single of the Year: “A Little Bit Stronger” – Sara Evans, “Colder Weather” – Zac Brown Band, “Don’t You Wanna Stay” - Jason Aldean w/ Kelly Clarkson, “Honey Bee” – Blake Shelton and “If I Die Young” – The Band Perry.
Album of the Year: “All About Tonight” – Blake Shelton, “My Kinda Party” – Jason Aldean, “Speak Now” – Taylor Swift, “This is Country Music” – Brad Paisley, and “You Get What You Give” – Zac Brown Band.
Music Video of the Year: “Honey Bee” – Blake Shelton, “If I Die Young” – The Band Perry, “Mean” – Taylor Swift, “Old Alabama” – Brad Paisley f/ Alabama and “You and Tequila” – Kenny Chesney f/ Grace Potter.
