Miranda
Lambert recently made a pit stop at a hospital in Rockford, Illinois,
to visit a young fan who is still recovering from a horrific Christmas
Eve car accident. 13-year-old Lexi Crose was in a crash just before
Christmas that killed her mother and stepbrother and left her
hospitalized. Nearly a month later, she’s still on the mend. Crose had
tickets to see Lambert’s concert in Rockford on January 12th, the first
show of the tour. When Lambert caught wind of why her young fan wasn’t
able to attend, she decided to pop in to see her. “I met a new friend
today. She is 13 and her name is Lexi,” Lambert tweeted. “Prayers for
her and her family everyone. She is a doll!” Later that night, Lambert
launched into her 2012 tour, and dedicated her song “Famous in a Small
Town” to Lexi.
