Randy Travis Announces 25th Anniversary Celebration Tour
June of 2011 marked the beginning of Randy Travis’ 25th year in the music industry. To commemorate that silver anniversary, Travis released his “Anniversary Celebration” record with Warner Bros., and he’s just announced a 2012 North American tour. Kicking off February 10th in Grand Ronde, Oregon, the tour will take Travis all over the U.S. and Canada, with more than 30 stops scheduled. He will likely play a significant set from his “Anniversary” record, which combines his original works with his favorites, including “More Life,” “Road to Surrender,” “He Walked on Water” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.” The album also features guest appearances by Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Kris Kristofferson, George Jones, Carrie Underwood, Lorrie Morgan and Jamey Johnson among others.
