Owen Back On His Feet
Jake Owen performed in front of a sold-out crowd his first weekend back out on the road after undergoing surgery on January 17th to repair his broken collarbone caused by a snowboarding accident. “I’m thrilled to be back out on the road,” Owen said. “And to have a sold-out show our first weekend back is such an awesome feeling.” He performed Friday night for a near sell-out crowd at Cowboy’s in Dallas and Saturday night for a sold-out crowd at Riverwind Casino in Norman, Oklahoma. On March 1st, Owen will be a guest on E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” hosted by Chelsea Handler. Owen will attend the “Act of Valor” exclusive movie premiere in Nashville. He co-wrote and recorded a song on the soundtrack for the upcoming feature film, which stars active duty Navy Seals. The film is due in theatres February 24th. “Alone with You,” entered the Top 10 this week on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. The song is the second single from “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.
