Brad Paisley Assists Fan With Marriage Proposal
Brad Paisley worked a marriage proposal into his act in Las Vegas Saturday, helping a fellow West Virginian pop the question during the show. Paisley, a Wheeling native, performed a concert at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino before an audience that included Jason Davis and Vanessa Pritt of Teays Valley, West Virginia. With plenty of pre-arrangement and seats near the stage, Davis held up a sign reading, “I’m the guy from West Virginia that’s going to propose,” after Paisley sang his signature song “She’s Everything.” Paisley then handed Davis the microphone, saying, “Do it, brother,” and Davis did, asking Pritt to marry him. She said yes. “I’ve never seen so many women crying,” Davis said. “The only reason Paisley considered it was because we’re fellow West Virginians.” After the proposal, Paisley joked from the stage, “Congratulations to you, sir, and my condolences to you, ma’am.”
