Darryl Worley will entertain 4000 National Guard soldiers and their families during a send-off picnic and concert at Boise’s Gowen Field on September 9th. The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is deploying to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn. The Boise-area soldiers’ deployment is for one-year, which hopefully, will be the conclusion of the U.S. Military’s involvement in that Country.
