Some rare recordings of Hank Williams were recently uncovered. Les Leverett, a Grand Ole Opry photographer, happened upon the tunes outside the National Life & Accident Insurance Company. The acetate recordings came from various “Mother’s Best” radio shows that Williams had performed on in 1951. A box set, some of it never released before, is due out September 28th.
