Trisha Yearwood took part in the New York Wine and Food Festival this past weekend, signing copies of her cookbooks and talking about her down-home southern recipes. But one thing she didn’t do was sing. “I’m not the singing cookbook lady,” Trisha told the crowd during a Q&A session when someone requested a musical number. She opted instead to talk about her simple approach to cooking. “I’m the KitchenAid diva,” she said, proclaiming her fondness for culinary gadgets.
