The Band Perry Gets Hometown Love

The Band Perry is from the close-knit community of Greeneville, Tennessee. They traveled home Sunday, just before their debut album release, to give a free public performance to say “thanks” for the town’s support throughout the years. Over 5,000 people showed up for the festivities held in historic downtown Greeneville. The band was honored by the announcement that Greene County had declared the week of October 10th “The Band Perry Week.” The Band Perry gave a special five-song acoustic performance and stayed for over four hours to sign autographs and chat with their hometown supporters. “The Band Perry” drops today, featuring the gold-certified single “If I Die Young” and the Top 20 hit “Hip To My Heart.”
