Taylor Swift’s former manager is suing her for millions he claims he’s owed in commissions for helping launch her career. The legal wrangling dates back to 2007 when Dan Dymtrow initially sued Taylor and her parents, claiming they breached a management contract by paying him only $10,000. Dymtrow, who has also represented Britney Spears, signed Swift in April 2004, but stopped overseeing her career in July 2005, the year before she broke big with her single “Tim McGraw.” Dymtrow claims he should have been paid commission for his work. The Swift camp argues that Dymtrow failed to obtain the required court approval of his management contract with Taylor, which was necessary because she was a minor.
