Wynonna Judd, her daughter and her tour manager were in a head-on car accident in Salt Lake City last Wednesday. They were on their way to a sushi restaurant to eat dinner when they were in the collision. Wy said, “It’s a miracle that I’m alive.” The next day, Judd told the Lake Tahoe Daily Tahoe Tribune that her doctors didn’t want to let her out of the hospital so that she could perform her show that night. But she insisted, saying she would be fine. She added that she “spent 10 years on a bus with my mother. If I can do that I can do anything!” However, Judd wasn’t released until midnight, after she had a CAT scan. She is determined to stay on her touring schedule and perform July 31st at the Lake Tahoe Music Festival.
