Darius Rucker will release his new album, “Charleston, SC 1966,” on October 12th. Rucker co-produced the 12-song album with Frank Rogers. The title reflects singer-songwriter Radney Foster’s 1992 country album, “Del Rio, TX, 1959,” which noted Foster’s birthplace and birth year. Rucker said Foster’s album showed him the possibilities of country music. Rucker released his first country album for Capitol Nashville, “Learning to Live,” in 2008.
