Get
ready for more music from Rodney Atkins after he signed a new deal with
Curb. The deal is not only to record but to write. Atkins says he
basically learned songwriting while under contract. He says label head
Mike Curb encouraged him “to learn about songwriting, how to write
songs, how to go in and produce those songs.” Unlike Atkins, Tim McGraw
apparently has had a different experience. He recently went to court to
end his contract with Curb.
