Brad
Paisley, Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Ricky Skaggs, Joe
Diffie and others are paying tribute to Mark Twain. They're part of a
two-CD set, with a 40-page booklet, called “Mark Twain: Words and
Music.” It's spoken word and music to tell the life story of Samuel
Langhorne Clemens, AKA Mark Twain, whose 175th birthday was celebrated
last year. The double-album is narrated by Garrison Keiller with Clint
Eastwood as the voice of Twain and Jimmy Buffett voicing Huck Finn. The
CD, due out tomorrow, will benefit the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and
Museum in Hannibal, Missouri.
