A life-size and a half bronze statue celebrating the life and legacy of Chris LeDoux, titled “Good Ride Cowboy,” by sculptor D. Michael Thomas, will be unveiled on June 19th during the dedication of Chris LeDoux Park in Kaycee, Wyoming. The statue, which sits atop a guitar shaped base, is of LeDoux riding the horse Stormy Weather, which earned the former rodeo cowboy a world championship. The walkway that leads in to the park where the sculpture is has LeDoux’s actual boot prints leading to the park; the boot prints fade as you get closer to the sculpture. The Chris LeDoux Park dedication will include barrel racing, saddle bronc and bareback riding in Harold Jarrard Park. Find out more at www.chrisledoux.com.
