This year’s YWCA celebrity auction hosted by Martina McBride raised $102,289 during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. Sunday’s event benefited the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee. The highest bids of the day were two $11,000 offers for handwritten, autographed and framed lyrics for “She’s a Butterfly.” Big Kenny, who co-wrote the song, assisted McBride in the auction. The money raised at this year’s auction is a 29% increase over last year. McBride has hosted the charity auction since 1995.
