Lee Ann Womack’s 16-year-old niece Joy was featured in Sunday’s New York Times World section in a story devoted to American students who have traveled to Russia to study at the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet. The 16-page spread is also featured on the Times’ website, where readers can view Joy’s studies and life in Russia. Joy took a summer session in America with Bolshoi teachers and they asked if she would like to enroll at the school to study with 750 of the country’s best dancers.
