PETA ASKS ZAC BROWN BAND TO GO MEATLESS.

 The Zac Brown Band has been asked by PETA to consider going vegetarian and think twice about the values their song “Chicken Fried” is portraying. PETA sent the band a letter that stated, “Life on the farm isn’t what it used to be, green pastures and idyllic barnyards have been replaced by windowless, cramped, filthy metal sheds. Animals are treated as nothing more than products, with little regard for their health, happiness, or basic needs.” In the letter, PETA suggested they change their “eat and greet” sessions to include only veggie food. All members of the band also received a basket of protein-rich faux meats.
