Nail Turns Home For New Single
David Nail’s latest single, “Turning Home,” written by Kenny Chesney and Scooter Carusoe, was released last week. The song was the No. 1 most-added single on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard charts. The song is from Nail’s debut CD, “I’m About To Come Alive.” Nail’s previous single, “Red Light,” is the longest charting single in Mediabase history, at 42 weeks. For the second time in a month, Nail volunteered his time and voice for fundraisers benefiting the Animal Rescue Foundation. Held in Walnut Creek, California, on January 9th and St. Louis on January 17th, the events and the organization’s founder, St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa, provide money to build and operate a facility where dogs and cats can be taken once their time at public shelters has run out.
