Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow have joined Loretta Lynn on a remake of “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” the first single from an upcoming tribute album to Lynn. The single will drop tomorrow. The digital version will be available on September 28th. The album, “Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn,” is due out November 9th. Lynn personally picked Crow and Lambert to appear on the album, as well as Steve Earle, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Martina McBride, Allison Moorer, Paramore, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, the White Stripes, Lucinda Williams, Gretchen Wilson and Lee Ann Womack.
