The Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Grand Ole Opry and the local musicians union are on board. They’re all using music notes on their websites and signage. Pop stars like Ke$ha and Hot Chelle Rae, rockers like Paramore, Kings of Leon, Jack White and the Black Keys all call Nashville home. But Gaylord Entertainment VP Steve Buchanan who oversees the Opry says country music’s role in transforming Nashville into an all-genre music hub should not be underestimated.
